" Many may not know it but when it comes to the sport of cricket, Pittsburgh has roots that run very deep.

The original Pittsburgh Cricket Club was formed in the 1882.

At that time, the club had large grounds on Craig Street devoted to cricket. In keeping with tradition, the original 1882 P.C.C Charter has now been revived. The travel team of the PITTSBURGH CRICKET ASSOCIATION comprising of players from various clubs in the P.C.A. League is now represented as the Pittsburgh Cricket Club."
